Now
seeking knowledgeable, positive, and community-minded dance
instructors to teach recreational classes for our
Introductory and Progressive Levels. Styles include ballet,
tap, jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre.
Responsibilities:
- Create
age-appropriate lesson plans for weekly classes
- Choreography for
bi-annual recitals
- Nurture
and motivate youth, ages 3-18, to realize their
potential and achieve their goals
- Build
relationships with participants and families
- Assess
student progress and effectively communicate
progress with families
Specific
Details:
- Classes are offered
at both the Dahl and Houser locations, with the majority of
offerings held at the Houser branch in Onalaska
- Morning,
evening, and weekend classes available; 2-8 hours
per week.
Requirements
- 3+
years of studio dance training in ballet, jazz, tap,
hip hop, and/or musical theatre
- Knowledge of dance
terminology and technique
- Strong
communication skills
- Ability to create a
safe and fun environment for all
