Our client is a leading non-profit organization, is dedicated to accelerating economic development in emerging economies through large-scale initiatives in entrepreneurship, small business growth, innovation, and skilling.
They are looking for a QA Engineer who will be responsible for Software testing and testing for web based
applications. Exposure to complex applications and test scenarios is required.
Role & Responsibilities:
·Create and document test cases for functional
and non-functional testing.
·Work closely with Product/Platform teams,
analyze functional requirements and their use cases.
·Work in a collaborative environment where you
regularly pair, plan, and execute tasks as a team.
·Complete ownership on features, involvement
as a quality engineer in design inception, development, testing and release to
Production.
·Oversee the overall QA lifecycle, from test
planning to implementation, execution and results reporting with minimal
supervision.
·Participate
within the Agile process.
Requirements
• BTech/BE in Computer Science/Information
science/Electronics or equivalent course.
• 2-4 years of Enterprise Software Testing
experience with a strong technical background in delivering high-quality products.
• Should have experience in Manual testing
and extensive knowledge on Testing concepts.
• Should have experience in REST API's
Testing and familiar with Postman or SOAP UI or any other tools.
• Should have experience with iOS and Android
Mobile apps testing.
• Should have experience on API Automation
using Postman, SOAP UI, Rest Assured or any other tools.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
• Knowledge on Selenium and exposure in
developing UI Automation using Selenium/Java.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
with meticulous attention to detail.
• Passion for learning, sharing your
knowledge and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, documentation,
collaboration, reporting and analytical skills.
• Experience working with Agile and Kanban /
Scrum processes and following strong development and testing processes.
