Managing and supporting the procurement of grants and implementation for the organization. Identify and develop strategies to optimize the grants administration process.
Perform relevant research to identify available grant opportunities and evaluate the results. Carrying out grant writing tasks and requirements in tandem with coordinating with fellow procurement team members and development managers.
Research for effective and authentic funding opportunities with private, local, state, and federal organizations and entities. Assuring grants are structured and implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the organization.
Keeping abreast of upcoming deadlines and deliverables, thereby ensuring smooth completion of responsibilities. Good understanding of the organization’s overall business and its objectives.
Compensation
This is a stipend consultancy role based on awards received from awarded proposals, however, expected to transition to a paid staff role.

Requirements
- Must have nonprofit grant writing experience. (Minimum of four years)
- Possess good knowledge of planning and strategizing financial and budgeting issues.
- Ability to work within a team and provide support to the fellow team members and management.
- Ability to perform in cross-functional team approach and job responsibilities.
- A multi-tasker with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computers with related knowledge of software programs and Internet usage.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using “Microsoft” Office 365.
