We are a strong, local organization who cleared over $12 million of government funding last year. We have very strong ties to the community, and we have programs everyone loves - a unique approach to food security, youth services, community celebrations, and the like. We advocate to the city and state for wage equity in a historically underpaid field, in a historically person of color and women-led field, and we put our money where our mouth is. Is the Richmond Neighborhood Center of San Francisco your ideal non-profit placement?
Our ideal candidate has experience raising over $600,000 annually for a community-based organization and is a builder of teams, processes, departments, and strategies. This person should understand the rules of the road for fund development, be able to analyze donor trends, and come up with a unified fundraising strategy. You should be a resident of either California or Washington State, with required travel to San Francisco several times each year. You get bonus points for living in the Richmond District itself, and for including a cover letter as part of your application.
