Minimum Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelors Degree in related field preferred
- 3 or more years’ experience in grant management, or real estate finance.
- Experience writing grant or funding applications for large projects with a track record of success.

Required Knowledge:
- Knowledge of grant writing.
- Knowledge of funding and financing for affordable housing and real estate development preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Proficiency in creation of presentations in PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with development project proformas preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite.
- Familiarity with NetSuite preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a group of managers, customers, and the general public.
Math Skills: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Define problems, collect, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant information to make logical decisions. Provides solutions to individual and company problems. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with computer usage, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
