The Clean Energy Program and Administrative Coordinator will support the Clean Energy program staff by providing various program and administrative duties related to program recruitment, intake, assessment, participant supportive service and service delivery. The Program and Administrative Coordinator will work with program applicants, partner agencies, community agencies, participants and employers to provide support for the Clean Energy training and employment program.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Administrative
- Organize and maintain participant files and databases in a confidential manner.
- Enter notes and contacts into databases and systems and place follow-up calls.
- Transmit information of documents using computer, mail or fax.
- Provide administrative support to Clean Energy Staff, including but not limited to preparing materials, scheduling appointments, and managing databases.
- Help track Mission Program participation and collect data for reports and evaluations.
- Coordinate processes and communicate with agency partners to provide supportive services to clients
Communication
- Manage communication including emails and phone calls with partners and participants.
- Answer questions and provide guidance and assistance related to participants’ expressed needs.
- Maintain professionalism, using tact and courtesy to establish and maintain effective relationships with persons contacted in the course of work.
- Show flexibility in working with people from diverse social, economic, and educational backgrounds.
Outreach and Assessment
- Assist with intake, including assessment testing at various community sites.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect participants’ Personal Identifying Information (PII) as required by law.
- Assist staff with recruitment, eligibility, and follow up efforts for the Clean Energy program.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special project program events and activities such as workshops, community outreach events, and job fairs.
- Assist with coordination of participants BRIDGE/orientation training.
Position Expertise
- Become familiar with the Clean Energy sector, as well as local, state and federal policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with program and community partners.

Qualifications & Basic Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; some post-secondary work preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with barriers to employment and understand and communicate with diverse groups.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High customer service focus.
- Proficient use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook and the Internet.
- Proficient use of Google applications such as Google Forms, Sheets, Docs, Classroom and Gmail.
- Bilingual with Spanish language highly desired but not required
- Ability to travel to locations within Goodwill’s territory on a regular schedule. Driver’s license and proof of auto insurance preferred.
Compensation: $17.50-$20/hourly
