Location: Cape Girardeau, MO

Primary Shift: M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (nights and weekends as needed)

Salary: $50,000 - $53,000/year

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic fundraising initiatives and programs to support our goals. You will play a key role in cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporations, while managing and coordinating various fundraising activities. What You’ll Do:
- Research prospective donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Cultivate relationships with existing and potential donors.
- Solicits donations on behalf of the agency to meet fundraising goals.
- Develop, manage, and execute all fundraising and community events.
- Partners with agency programs to manage large volunteer groups and events.
- Works closely with the Human Resources department to play a key role in managing essential stages of the volunteer life cycle.
- Educates the community on the agency by making public appearances, speeches, etc.
- Attends community and agency networking events.
- Writes and implements donor communications.
- Represents the agency at trade shows, community fairs, and other outreach events by staffing company booth.
- Conducts facility tours for donors, volunteers, special guests, and other visitors.
- Regularly input, update, and report donor information, contributions, and engagement into the donor management software.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in non-profit leadership, marketing & communications, or related field.

This position requires a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.
Preferred:
- One to three (1-3) years of fundraising experience.
- Experience working in a social service non-profit.
- Experience in Blackbaud’s donor database software.
