Job Title: Suitability Administrator
Department: Investment Risk
Location: Glasgow
Contract Type: 12 month secondment / 12 month fixed term contract
The Role
To provide a first-class Suitability service that is an organisational driving force that aids investment managers with their suitability workload, administration, advice, and training.
Outcomes of the Role
- Effectively analyse client financial background information and attitude to risk questionnaires as part of the Suitability/KYC regulations, highlighting any issues within the completed documentation. This could include unanswered questions, contradictory answers or areas that require further consideration.
- Responsible for managing the full suitability life cycle from onboarding to ongoing relationships.
- Responsible for liaising with the relevant Investment Manager and their team to highlight these issues and drafting bespoke guidance for the IM and correspondence to clients.
- Essential to build good relationships with the Investment Managers and their teams so that we can provide them with the best service.
- Produce client facing reports on behalf of Investment Managers for their approval.
- Managing your own workload from start to finish with strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
- Working effectively in a team to ensure goals are achieved.
- Responsible for chasing outstanding client queries and managing pending cases.
- To assist in training and upskilling of team members.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A high standard of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Competent using a computer and software packages (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Efficient time management
- Ability to adapt to changes, work under pressure and prioritise workload.
