Provide services, assessments, counseling, and job prep guidance to participants; (Barrier Removal: connections to public benefits, interview/workforce attire, transportation (e.g. bus tickets, car repair), Basic skills improvement (digital literacy).

Monitor participant data and reporting needs through multiple workforce systems, participant spending and budgets; program and file compliance; activities; trends, and variance with program design

Facilitate training, workshops, presentations, and meetings for participants or partners (Resume development, Practice Interviewing/Mock Interviews, Networking);

Establish employer relations and work opportunities, partnerships with related service agencies

Review program design, tools, curriculum, and needs to analyze effectiveness

Counsel with clients desiring to develop strategies for improved, stable employment by performing the following:

Assess client interest areas and develop action plans, employability or career exploration planning, connect to training opportunities, and maintain timely and accurate individual client case management and file data.

Upon completion of any necessary training, assist the client in job placement.

Ensure that all applicant skills are commensurate with the required qualifications, as specified by job orders or contractual agreements prior to sending applicants to interview for the position.

Provide follow-up to clients successfully placed to determine their continued employment, to ensure career enhancement plan is still appropriate, etc.

Determines client eligibility for assigned workforce development programs.

Refers clients to LUL or partner programs, community agencies and/or resources for career training, support or placement.

Performs basic operational tasks as needed, such as creating vouchers using the LUL voucher template after participant eligibility is established to assist in removing barriers that inhibit workforce participation and/or workforce training completion.

Manage assigned specialized clients that receive barrier removal vouchers balancing participant supportive services accounts through the spend down function in Salesforce.

Provides a comprehensive evaluation of employment and training needs.

Assesses customer skills by interviewing, testing and other methods.

Provides counseling for clients with barriers to employment or education.

May assess clients with physical or mental disabilities and make appropriate referrals to related services.

Works with clients to develop individualized training plans, placements, and career counseling.

Administers needs assessments, reviews reentry and personal action plans, employment and housing search assistance, access wrap-around services internal/external, facilitating essential skills/other classes, employment verifications, and other case management needs.

Provides or guides clients to group training and/or instructional services to enhance client employment skills. Directly responsible for client employment placement and all necessary post-employment retention tracking activities.

Assists clients with job placement, including job search, labor market analysis, and employment contacts.

Assist clients by creating accounts and applying via Indeed, LinkedIn, or directly on the company website.

Monitors and records participant data into multiple management information systems. (e.g. Salesforce, Kee Suite, United Us, etc.)

Assess client’s work readiness, make job referrals, and placements, and provide follow-up to help ensure job retention and continued engagement in support service programs.

Refer, accompany and provide case management and follow-up with clients to monitor progress.

May facilitate group processes including testing, workshops, and orientations

Maintains case files as directed to meet customer and program needs.

Ensures nondiscrimination and equity in the delivery of services.

Interacts and coordinates services with other state and local agencies and programs.

Assesses program and participant needs to be responsive in refining and updating program processes, materials, design, and delivery.

Exploration of alternative methods of delivery of services.

Participates in employer partnerships, Self-audits files to ensure compliance, and provides reports as requested.

Engages with outside partners and community organizations to align and coordinate services and resources of the League’s Center for Workforce Development, and to host outreach activities to recruit clients for services.

Serve as program and organization representative to matters relating to area of expertise. vaccination, preferred.
