The Residential Administrator oversees the management of a residential group home in conjunction with the program plan approved by the California Regional Centers and Community Care Licensing. This Administrator ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Coordinates and organizes the facility programs within the framework of the operational budget. Ensures quality support and care by leading the staff (DSP’s) who provide the support and care to the adults living in an adult residential facility. This position is on-site.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Two years of relevant supervisory experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
- Occasional utilization of personal vehicle to transport the people we support is needed.
- Must have cleared and approved criminal record check.
- Must hold First Aid/CPR certification and/or instructor, ability to obtain.
- Must remain current with training and current industry knowledge pertaining to the developmentally disabled community.
- Must provide knowledge of community resources that may be used by people we support.
- Must be flexible in hours worked and be willing to assist others to benefit the individuals serviced.
- Must have the capacity to organize large amounts of information and manage complex situations to achieve effective outcomes for the people we support.
- Must be proficient with information technology systems (Microsoft Office, Relias, Therap, etc.)
- The compensation range for this position is 68,177.00-69,877.50 annually.

Responsibilities:
- Completes assessments, evaluations, and regularly reviews data to assimilate information into the individualized support plan or other applicable plans and reports.
- Leads the work of the Direct Support Professionals and is actively involved in talent selection, development, recognition, performance management and separation.
- Schedules and facilitates team meetings and arranges necessary referrals and follow-ups.
- Facilitates the admissions and discharging of all people supported, as required by state regulations Title 17 and Title 22.
- Establishes effective working relationships and maintains regular contact with, the person supported, guardian, and support team in order to document and share all important information.
- Participates in the quality assurance process to assure continuous improvement in the quality of health care supports.
- Leads workplace health and safety plans according to AbleLight, Community Care Licensing or Regional Center expectations.
- Interprets policies and regulations of the care and treatment of the people supported.
- All other duties as assigned.
