We are currently searching for a Program Associate for a Healthcare Association. The position is full-time, temporary, and hybrid onsite in Arlington, VA.

SCHEDULE: M-F, 8:30a-5:00p
DURATION: Temporary (12-16 weeks, covering for employee on leave)
HOURLY PAY: $25.00-$27.00/hour/hour
Is This Your Dream Job: The Program Associate works collaboratively within the team, with cross-functional teams (IT, Communications, Research and Evaluation, Meetings, Advocacy, etc.), and the nationwide network of community-based organizations and senior centers offer both evidence-based health promotion programs and organization-specific. The Program Associate utilizes strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to positively impact the lives of older adults through this role. This position calls for a highly organized and resourceful individual with a strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience in program administration.
- Self-initiative and solution-focused orientation to learn new technical skills, resolve problems, and seek help when needed.
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and analytical skills.
- Strong writing, editing, and document formatting skills.
- Familiarity and/or experience with project management tools and platforms, such as Asana.
- Experience with customer relationship management and project management.
- Exceptional ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize adhering to timelines.
- Demonstrated technology skills, such as experience with Microsoft Office programs, Salesforce (or similar software), Pardot (or other e-mail platform), and Costpoint (or similar software). Familiarity with webinar technology Adobe Photoshop is also a plus.
- Demonstrated skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with diverse audiences.
- Ability to interface with a variety of stakeholders and contribute positively to the team.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about the Organization’s mission serving older vulnerable adults.
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Participates in supporting and implementing strategies to achieve Organization’s goal of significantly improving the health and well-being of 40 million older adults by 2030.
- Works closely with the Center team and other staff to implement a comprehensive strategy to expand the reach and sustainability of healthy aging programs and services.
- Provides technical assistance, support, and guidance to state and community organizations offering Chronic Disease Self-Management Education, falls prevention, Aging Mastery, and other health promotion and disease prevention programs.
- Supports and contributes to healthy aging pilot projects and initiatives and meets deadlines.
- Supports business development activities including program ideation; may support proposal writing, presentation development and other activities, as needed.
- Supports efforts designed to market and promote the department’s network through occasional speaking engagements, and conference presentations.
- In collaboration with colleagues, contributes to planning, promoting, facilitating, and coordinating webinars and Organization’s annual conference.
- Supports database work to include collection and retrieval of participant data as well as account setup for community partners.
- Sets up, monitors, and exports online surveys in Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, and other systems.
- Distills complex information into simple and compelling messages for maximum clarity, understanding, and impact.
- Prepares and contributes to routine reports, such as issue briefs, Aging Mastery reports, community partner surveys, and Administration for Community Living (ACL) semi-annual grant progress reports.
- Supports and maintains relationships with community-based organizations and other partners and ensures stakeholder satisfaction to further the work of the Organization.
- Manages onboarding of all Aging Mastery sites
- Manages all financials and administrative process for Aging Mastery Program (contracts, sub-grants, and licensing agreements).
- Manages the entire process of product fulfillment including sourcing vendors, approving product proofs, arranging bulk deliveries, controlling for product quality, assisting sites in ordering materials, tracking retail orders, and resolving any customer service issues related to fulfillment. Oversee and manage the AMP Community site in Salesforce assuring data quality through regular monitoring and tracking, and monitoring grantee compliance with data collection requirements.
