Disability Programs Manager
Hartley Lifecare is a Canberra-based not-for-profit organisation providing Supported Independent Living (SIL), Short Term Accommodation or respite care (STA) to people with disability in Canberra. We also operate Hartley Hydro – an all abilities accessible heated pool, which operates 5 days per week at a temperature of 34°C.
Hartley is seeking a strong leader with exceptional management and people skills. This is a rare opportunity to join the management team at Hartley Lifecare and contribute to our exceptional services. We are seeking an experienced manager with the capacity to oversee supported accommodation for people with disability in accordance with the purpose and philosophy of Hartley Lifecare.
Applicants require a strong human services background, management experience and a strong background in working with people with disability and their families. An associated tertiary qualification in Leadership and Management and Disability would be advantageous. The successful candidate will need to have:
- A current Australian driving licence
- A valid WWVP card
- First Aid Certificate or the ability to obtain
- Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and possess a NDIS certificate of completion https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/login/index.php
