SUMMARY
Under general direction, is responsible for performing the essential duties and responsibilities below in support of the IT Department. Be available to create, manage and maintain technology requisitions, triage technical support issues, and manage and maintain IT inventory. In addition, direct all vital information to the right IT staff and work together in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Create, manage and maintain technology requisitions.
· Track, upload and maintain equipment packing slips into Purchasing/IT SharePoint site.
· Professionally handle incoming IT support calls to dispatch to the right IT staff.
· Directs all important situations, inquiries and questions to appropriate party.
· Triage technical support tickets.
· Maintains office supply inventory, ordering supplies by originating requisitions and monitoring receipt of supplies.
· Receives, reads, sorts and distributes in-coming mail and packages.
· Screens incoming mail and brings priority items to supervisor’s immediate attention.
· Keeps track of staff attendance, vacations and sick leave and verify the accuracy of Time and Attendance forms.
· Performs other related duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
· Must be familiar with technology such as Microsoft, Word, Excel, SharePoint and OneDrive.
· Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with employees, co
-workers, other departments, outside contacts, etc.
· Due to the sensitive nature of the position, must be able to maintain the
strictest confidentiality.
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Ability to type correspondence and other documents in a variety of formats at a speed necessary for job performance.
· Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures including business correspondence, record keeping.
· Systems and office equipment
· Excellent oral and written communications skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED. Some college or secretarial school preferred
- At least five years of related work experience
COMPENSATION: $25.70/hour + Industry-Leading Benefits for all full-time employees.
