Assessment & Diagnosis:
Conduct detailed neuropsychological evaluations to assess memory, attention, language, perception, and cognitive functioning.
Diagnose conditions such as brain injury, stroke, dementia, ADHD, learning disabilities, or neurological disorders.
Rehabilitation Planning:
Therapy & Intervention:
Provide cognitive-behavioral therapy, counseling, and coping strategies.
Help patients adapt to cognitive deficits through compensatory techniques.
Monitoring & Progress Evaluation:
Family & Caregiver Education:
Educate families on the nature of neurological conditions and how to support the patient.
Provide strategies to manage behavior, memory loss, or emotional regulation.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team:
Work closely with neurologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and educators.
Participate in case discussions and interdisciplinary meetings.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare detailed evaluation reports and therapy summaries.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
Research & Program Development (if applicable):
