Assistant Project Manager
Job Description:
- Support in execution and production of organisations' programs like symposiums, panel discussions, workshops and lectures.
- Assist in Planning, managing and implementing project responsibilities from inception to completion including: cost, benefits, quality, scope, and schedule.
- Work as a part of a team on multiple projects at a time, using project monitoring templates for monitoring, progress tracking, problem solving on ongoing projects to adhere to timeline delivery.
- Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) and writing a contextual material that delineates the topic to be discussed.
- Liaises with speakers, artists, collaborators, cosponsors, and other program participants
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles and content for the program. Continuous maintenance and update of contents on the local company website
- Collaborate with the team and help in generating ideas for new content types for both online and offline platforms.
- Represent the organisation at large, attends art and cultural related programs and keep a tab on best practices from the industry.
Skills:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Arts and culture enthusiast.
- 1-2 years of work experience in event management and programming or arts and culture.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- A willingness to learn new skills, adapt as per organisational culture and goals, and possess good time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office.
