Position Description: The Accounting specialist works closely with 2 others in the finance department which oversees daily, monthly and yearly financial operations. Tasks are as follows but not limited too:
- Preparing financial statements and reporting of any discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts and credit card accounts
- Generating reports
- Manage accounts payable, pay and file invoices and track the status of accounts
- Manage account receivables
- Prepare month-end reports and all reporting that may be necessary
- Input ledger entries, process financial transactions
- Accounts payable, draft and send invoices, print checks and ACH payments in a timely manner
- Data Management
- Assist with Administrative tasks such as answering phones, organizing mail or ordering office supplies
- Budgets for grants
- Prepares and completes daily bank deposits
- Prepare for audits as they occur
- Prepare financials for the Board of Directors meetings and attend those meetings
- Work with Program Directors on preparing budgets for grants
Hours:Full Time 8-4 Monday thru Friday
Compensation:TBD with experience taken into consideration

Qualifications:
- Bachelors preferred
- 2-4 years experience in an accounting role
- Non profit experience a plus
- MIP classic or MIP Cloud knowledge
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
- Computer proficiency
- Flexibility and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced, demanding environment
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends if needed
- Federal and State grant knowledge
