Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support for Executive Director of Philanthropy as well as the department and other areas as assigned. This position maintains the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality and ensures optimal effectiveness through appropriate prioritization, coordination and communication of administrative activities. The incumbent undertakes and assists with special projects and activities as directed to support the needs of the department.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Knowledge:
Basic office equipment familiarity and two years of clerical experience preferred.
Working knowledge of email and calendaring systems, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft office programs required.
Skills:
Basic keyboarding skills
Experience in minute taking and chart-writing.
Strong organizational, meeting planning, facilitation, interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, written and verbal required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with heavy interruptions.
Ability to reprioritize workload as needed.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and the ability to meet deadlines required.
