Kindsight is looking for a top shelf, proven performer with a minimum of 10 years experience exceeding quota in the enterprise nonprofit fundraising technology space. Preferred candidates will have experience and a documented history of crushing quotas, building massive pipeline, and possessing an established personal network in the nonprofit sector and Salesforce ecosystem.
You should be able to gain entry into and develop business at any global NGO/nonprofit with the same confidence as a 4-year-old wearing Spider-Man pajamas as you share the incredible message of Kindsight's Fundraising Intelligence platform. As our inaugural account executive for this sector, you will have an incredible opportunity to do big things.
In 2024 Kindsight's ascend CRM won an overwhelming majority of the open competitive selection cycles in the Education sector where we dominate the market share for Salesforce-based advancement solutions. We are now answering the strong call from the NGO/nonprofit sector to provide our solution to help organizations elevate their donor's experiences and affinity while raising more funds to drive important outcomes.

Position Summary:
Our Enterprise Account Executives are responsible for driving significant growth by acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding relationships with existing high-value clients. This role demands a strategic and proactive sales approach, the ability to navigate complex sales cycles, and a deep understanding of SaaS products tailored for enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional skills in managing large-scale accounts within the NGO/Nonprofit sector.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products, solutions, and services, becoming an expert on our suite of solutions and competitive differentiation in the nonprofit sector.
- Accurately and enthusiastically craft and deliver the story around the need and impact of the solutions and maintain knowledge on new solutions and updated value propositions.
- Meet and exceed new sales goals in an assigned set of prospect institutions/territory.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless and effective process. This includes acting as quarterback on complex sales motions and responses to documents such as RFP, RFI, and RFQ’s.
- Develop and execute sales plans to effectively and efficiently target and engage with institutions within assigned territory, leveraging short- and long-term selling strategies within these accounts to meet or exceed assigned quotas.
- Establish a cadence of activity and engagement with prospects that can align against pipeline generation goals and monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.
- Accurately forecast pipeline for in-month and in-quarter quota attainment.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within accounts in your assigned territory.
- Build and deepen relationships with assigned account prospects and industry thought leaders.
- Engage and influence decision-makers in consultative, problem first discussions to align their needs with our solutions to build pipeline and advance opportunity closure.
- Proactively seek assistance from our leadership team and subject matter experts as needed to support sales and partnership opportunities.
- Facilitate and support smooth transitions to company customer advocates and support representatives.
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge vital to be effective in the position.
- Attend related industry conferences and events to build relationships, build pipeline, advance opportunity closure, and convey the company narrative and thought leadership.
- Consistently record touchpoints and opportunity events in the company’s CRM solution.
- Serve as a public-facing representative of Kindsight, our values, and our collective positive team culture.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 60% at times).
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience may be considered
- Minimum 10 years of experience in selling into non-profit, healthcare, or higher education philanthropy sectors, with a proven track record of success in enterprise level sales achieving sales targets, managing large accounts and closing high-value deals.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, along with strong negotiation and persuasion skills, Challenger Sales Methodology is an asset
- Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, and other sales tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
