Compudopt is a national non-profit organization that aims to provide technology access and education to under-resourced youth and their communities. As Compudopt continues to grow our Director of Corporate Philanthropy will work closely with our Vice President of Development to set the fundraising and development strategy for our national organization. This role will support the philanthropy efforts at that national and site level, shape the culture for donor management and stewardship, identify, solicit, and secure gifts for national growth. This role will ensure transparent communication and storytelling to corporate funders of metrics and outcomes as aligned with their gifts in a compelling manner that encourages renewed support and engagement. This role is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the continental US and will require occasional weekends and travel up to 25%.

Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cultivate relationships though all corporate channels to include marketing, community impact leaders, foundation staff and C-Suite leadership staff to successfully
secure investments at significant levels.
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward existing and new corporate donors in the 6+ figure and above range.
- Manage and evolve national sponsorship program and other related initiatives.
- Work collaboratively across functional teams including Marketing, and with other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate on the creation and implementation of the national development strategy.
- Manage the giving portfolio for corporations and other grantor entities.
- Collaborate with Vice Development of Development to identify major giving prospects and cultivations strategies for supporters across giving sectors.
- Work with city-specific site leaders on all stages of the corporate donor cycle: prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship to increase philanthropy on a hyper-local level.
- Identify corporate and other grant opportunities that align with Compudopt programs and activities, analyze internal grant reports and develop understanding of the criteria and priorities applicable to each grant/funder program, and pursue promising funding leads accordingly.
- Utilize donor prospecting tools to conduct research on corporations for prospect activity and maintain integrity of the data.
- Help manage grant activities; funder and contractor relationships and ensure grant compliance and accurate reporting.
- Design and implement a robust stewardship calendar, ensuring regular donor touchpoints, thoughtful solicitation timing, and creative giving options.
- Collaborate and lead communications regarding all development-related contributions to the website, social media, printed materials, and e-Newsletters.
- Support CEO and other Board fundraising efforts as needed.
- Supervise day-to-day grant writing and operations tasks in partnership with support staff, including donor acknowledgments.
- Represent Compudopt by attending and participating in external meetings and events.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 5 years of progressive fundraising experience including the donor relations process, grant writing and event management.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong partnerships with a diverse set of corporate philanthropy partners.
- A demonstrated commitment to achieving results: specifically securing 6+ figure sponsorships, meeting individual cash goals, and increasing corporate philanthropy commitments over time.
- An understanding of the technology divide and its drivers
Preferred:
- Advanced degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 7 years of fundraising success with an emphasis on corporations and major gifts.
- Experience with government grants, contracts, and compliance.

Salary is one component of Compudopt’s total compensation package, which also includes:
- Employer paid medical contributions up to $7015.20 annually.
