The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech is adding Civil/Environmental Engineer Interns to work
in our East Lansing, Ann Arbor, and Lexington offices. The successful
candidate for this position will provide engineering support for the
water/wastewater group. Typical projects include a wide variety of
municipal water/wastewater projects involving collection and conveyance
systems, pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, and
rehabilitation. This position is part of a team that specializes in the
engineering of public water systems to upgrade aging infrastructure,
provide sustainable solutions, and offer innovative approaches to help
preserve safe and reliable water delivery.

Your Role:

Prepare permit applications and support materials.Assist in the design and permitting of projects
-
Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and
analyses
-
Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering reports and
supporting documents

Assist in the preparation of construction drawings,
specifications, and cost estimates
-
Ensure stand engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate
documentation on various reports and design projects
- Interface with other engineering disciplines

Plan, coordinate and execute work in a safe, timely,
cost-effective, and compliant manner
Qualifications:

Familiarity with relevant codes and industry standards

Familiarity in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite

Third or a fourth-year student enrolled in Bachelor's Degree
program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related
field
