Functions:
Responsibilities:
Toassistwiththeday-to-daystoreoperationandproductionperformancetomeetorexceed
budgetwhileincompliancewithcompanystandards,policiesandprocedures.AProduction LeadperformsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbytheStoreManagerorProduction Manager.ProductionLeadsmayactinasupervisorycapacityduringscheduledwork
hours.
1.Toreachproductiongoalguidelines(minimumof110garmentsperhourwitha minimum quality standard of 90%).
2.Toensureproperproductionofdonationsgetprocessedandreadytoputonthestore floor.
3.Toactasapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessional performance.
4.Toproducedonatedgoodsinthebackroomadequately.Tocreateapositivepublic image of Goodwill through a clean
store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
5.Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheback-room area.
6.Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the
bathrooms.)
7.Toobservepersonnelandsafetypoliciesandprocedures.Toensurecomplianceby Production Associates.
8.Tobeableto perform the jobduties oftheProduction Associates.
9.Toattendworkontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerforthe week.
Skills and Abilities:
1.ToassisttheStoreManagerorProductionManagerinachieving/exceedingproduction goals both monthly and annually
and to assist in implementing a contingency plan if goals are not being met.
2.Mustbeabletointeractprofessionallyandproductivelywithadiverse arrayof people.
3.MustbeabletomarketGoodwillandexplainthemissiontothegeneralpublic.
4.Mustestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith,andamong,store
and production personnel while motivating them to their best performance.
5.Mustbeabletoworkaflexiblescheduleatshortnotice,includingnightsand weekends, and occasionally, long
hours.
6.Mustbeabletouserepetitivehandmovementwhenbuttoning,sorting,hangingand zipping garments.
7.Mustbeabletoengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending, stooping, and stretching.
8.Mustbeabletofunctioninafast-pacedworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiodsof high volume.
Requirements:
1.HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
2.Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyin English.
3.Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustry preferred.
4.MustsuccessfullycompleteRetail training.
WorkingConditions:
Frequentphysicalexertion,frequentmovement,conditionedindoortemperatureswithoccasional
exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work
schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior
notice.
