Starting wage: $19.00-$21.00/hour, DOE. 8% Night-Shift Differential (11pm-7am)

Shift: Nights - 11pm-7am
Training: Alternatives provides thorough orientation and training for all new staff.
You can expect a one-week orientation, where you will learn all about Alternatives and be prepared for taking on your role.
This first week is 9am-5pm at our Alternatives Training Center.
You will then train from 9am-5pm the 2nd week, before moving into your schedule.
Continual on-going training is provided to all our staff to keep them current on their roles, industry standards, and contractual compliance.

What Skills do you need?
The Client Advisor In-Charge is experienced in corrections, law-enforcement, and/or social services, with some experience in supervision or running a shift.
Must haves:
- High School Diploma
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass federal drug screen process and background check.
Must be able to delegate tasks, respond to inquiries, and train others.

The Operations Supervisor at Passages has over 15 years with the Agency and started as a Client Advisor, she has worked diligently to build the successful operations team that you will find at Passages.
The Client Advisor/Operations Department is comprised of 3 SROs, 3 Client Advisor Supervisors, 6 Client Advisor In-Charges, and a variety of other Client Advisors, that all keep things running and operating smoothly for our residents and staff.
What will you do in this position?
Client Advisor In-Charge is responsible for welfare, accountability, safety, and health of residents and staff in the facility on their assigned shift.
In-Charge staff are responsible for ensuring all security checks and functions are conducted on residents.
Some of the duties will often include but are not limited to:
- Delegate shift security checks and needs - ensuring full coverage of units.
- Ensure new CA staff are assigned a mentor and are actively trained while on your shift.
- Ensure duties during shift that are on the In-Charge checklist are accomplished.
- Arrange coverage as needed in event of absence of scheduled staff.
- Assist in revisions of resident handbooks, SOPs, addendums, and trainings.
- Attend meetings as assigned.
