We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Central Placement Outreach Officer to develop and strengthen our college's corporate relationships. He will identify and collaborate with new companies to bring campus recruitment opportunities for our students. This role is pivotal in enhancing the employability of our students and ensuring a high placement rate for the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish relationships with new companies across diverse industries to secure campus recruitment opportunities.
- Network with HR professionals, business leaders, and alumni to create partnerships for internships and full-time roles.
- Acquire knowledge regarding job and internship opportunities in various streams / industries.
- Act as the primary liaison between the institution and corporate recruiters.
- Present the college's student profiles, programs, and achievements to potential recruiters.
- Actively promote the institution’s talent pool and establish the college as a preferred hiring destination.
- Maintain a database of companies approached, recruitment outcomes, and placement statistics.
- Analyze placement trends and prepare reports for the management / external agencies.
- Coordinate with faculty to understand student strengths and align placements accordingly.
- Assist students in preparing for placements by organizing skill development workshops, mock interviews, and resume-building sessions.
- Plan and execute placement-related events such as job fairs, industry seminars, and guest lectures.
- Facilitate industrial visits and on-site recruitment events.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in placement coordination, corporate relations, or a similar role.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills to build long-term relationships with corporate partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple recruitment activities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for maintaining corporate databases.
Preferred:
- Experience in the education sector or campus recruitment.
- Knowledge of industry trends and the hiring requirements of various sectors.
